Schuman Associates organised “Financing mid-sized companies for growth” seminar in the European Parliament

On 27th November 2013, Danish MEP Bendt Bendtsen co-hosted a breakfast briefing in the European Parliament with BDO International. The briefing on access to finance for European companies focused on the specific needs of the European mid-sized companies with regards to funding as well as generally addressing their challenges when it comes to growth.

The opening remarks of MEP Bendtsen were followed by a debate moderated by Noel Clehane, the BDO Global Head of Regulatory and Public Policy Affairs. The panel of experts in the field of access to finance for SMEs included Ciprian Cristea from DG Enterprise at the European Commission, Belgian MEP Philippe De Backer and Gerhard Huemer, Director at UEAPME.
