is Irish. Gerard is founder and CEO of Schuman Associates. He has overall responsibility for business and client development in Schuman Associates. With more than 20 years experience in managing an EU consulting practice, Gerard has pioneered innovative strategies for Schuman’s clients growing their EU funding, presence and influence. He has worked with many of the worlds Fortune 500 firms, leading NGOs and governments. Gerard is a graduate in economics from the University of Limerick and has been based in Brussels since 1986, having worked both as a National Expert and consultant to the European Commission.
