Thomas Reeve

Account Executive

Thomas is half Dutch, half English and an Account Executive on EU funding at Schuman Associates. Thomas works in the area of EU External Aid Funding where he specializes in the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) providing clients with advice on how best to use EU instruments in this field. He is also active for other EU External Aid funding such as EDF, DCI and ENPI. Before joining Schuman Associates he started his career as a Project Manager of EuropeAid projects at a consultancy in Madrid, tendering mainly for EC funded Service Contracts. Also in Madrid, Thomas was a volunteer for CEAR (Spanish Commission of Refugee Assistance). He arrived in Brussels in 2009 as a stagiaire at the European Commission where he was working at DG AIDCO in the Directorate dealing with horizontal ACP matters. Thomas holds a Bachelor degree in Social and Cultural Sciences, completed in Amsterdam, before obtaining a Master in Social Policy Development and Evaluation in the same city, focussing on immigration and reintegration matters.
