EU Funding

is Spanish and a partner with Schuman Associates. Ruth has overall responsibility in the firm for EU funding. She specializes in the External Relations, Energy, Information Technology and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) sectors. For 10 years she has assisted clients in winning EU funding for interregional projects on CSR and she has supported numerous consortia-building strategies. She is also a regular lecturer with the European Training Institute and other fora on EU Technical Assistance programmes, EU financing sources and tendering procedures. Prior to joining Schuman Associates, she worked as an EU advisor at the Basque Regional Government Delegation. She is a graduate in Law and Economics from the University of Deusto, Spain. She has a Master’s Degree in Community and External Trade Law from the University of Amsterdam. She speaks Spanish, Basque, Italian, English and French.
