is Irish. She heads up Schuman’s EU public affairs team. Fiona has worked as an EU public affairs consultant and lawyer in Brussels for 18 years, advising governments, multinationals and trade associations among others. She set up and manages a high level EU anti-money laundering public/private sector forum and has successively orchestrated several EU lobbying campaigns for clients on a diverse range of issues including financial services and taxation. Before joining Schuman in 2005, Fiona worked for a number of law firms including White & Case and with her own consultancy, Athrónan Associates. She trained as a barrister in London and has law degrees from Trinity College Dublin, Free University of Brussels and a Ph.D on Community law pending from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She has published various articles on EU law and policy and is the author of a book on relations between the EU and Member State territories. She speaks English and French.
