is Greek and a director with Schuman Associates. Danai’s main focus in Schuman is on advising and assisting major corporate US and EU clients to set up successful techniques and strategies for winning EU projects. She works closely with senior management teams to formulate and implement business development strategies, enabling the client to capitalize on EU-funded leads. Danai is pivotal in managing and activating complex networks of country teams and distributors from a central Brussels support role and is required to travel frequently across the globe, from Washington DC to Beijing to work at the grass-roots of projects. Danai has extensive experience with EU funding having also worked with the European Commission’s Pre-Accession Financial Instruments Unit in the Directorate General for Enlargement, before joining Schuman Associates. She is a graduate from the American College of Thessaloniki, Greece where she studied History and International Relations. She earned her first Master in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh and her second Master in European Integration and Development from the Free University of Brussels. She is fluent in Greek, English, German, French and is learning Turkish.
