is Irish and a senior consultant with Schuman Associates since 2007. His work focuses mainly on EU policy in the areas of the internal market, trade and the environment. Joe uses his EU expertise to work with our clients to help them to design a strategy for leveraging opportunities and neutralising threats arising from EU legislative changes and funding programmes. He is specialised in conceptualising and managing EU wide lobbying campaigns, coordinating closely with EU institutions and Governments and positioning clients with key EU decision makers. Joe completed an internship in the trade section of the European Commission’s Delegation in Washington D.C. He regularly writes articles and organises workshops on how the EU works and how to lobby it effectively. Joe graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in business studies and economics. He was awarded a Masters degree in European Studies from the University of Bonn. He speaks English, German and he is learning French.
