Dr. Odysseas Cartalos

Dr. Odysseas Cartalos provides strategic advice to enterprises, universities, research organisations and other institutions in developing and acquiring European funding for research, innovation and education projects. This includes formulating project and proposal strategies selecting consortium members, coordinating bid preparation and assisting with project management.
Dr. Cartalos has more than 25 years of experience in managing large-scale projects involving multidisciplinary teams. Since 2006, he works in the areas of innovation and research, with special interest in technology transfer and other mechanisms that enhance the societal and economic impact of academic and corporate research. He has conceived, organised and directed many projects in these fields on behalf of the European Parliament (ITRE Committee, STOA) and the European Commission (DG R&I, DG GROW, DG CNECT, DG REGIO, DG HR, Europaid).
