EU Industrial Strategy: new Cloud and Semiconductor Alliances
The EU's newly launched Cloud and Semiconductor Alliances – or Alliance on Industrial Data, Edge and Cloud, and Processor and Semiconductor Alliance – will strengthen these two key European industries as part of the EU's Industrial Strategy. With the objective of supporting them to thrive and become autonomous, these alliances are open to experts, businesses and Member State representatives who can contribute to identifying the necessary steps and tools.
This launch coincides with Member States' work on building Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEIs) – strategic, cross-border, pioneer projects – for the microelectronics and cloud sectors.
