Danai is Greek. She has more than 15 years of experience in emerging markets business development. Danai has laid the foundations for the company’s External Aid practice and over the years has advised leading US and EU corporations to set up successful techniques for winning EU development aid and international projects. She works closely with senior management teams to formulate and execute go-to market plans in a number of sectors and countries. Before joining Schuman she worked with the European Commission's Pre-Accession Financial Instruments Unit in DG Enlargement and with the Euro Citizen Action Service (ECAS). Danai holds a Degree in International Relations from the American College of Thessaloniki and two Master Degrees from the University of Edinburgh and the Free University of Brussels. She is fluent in Greek, English, Italian and some German and French.
