Mike is half Italian and half American. He works on EU External Aid Funding and Advocacy. Prior to joining Schuman Associates he worked in the international division of a large Italian IT company managing international projects as well as developing new partnerships. He has studied in Italy and the USA and has spent a year working in Ireland on EU Framework contracts within an international consultancy company based in Dublin. He arrived in Brussels and gained experience in the European Parliament through an internship while he pursued a graduate certificate in International Affairs at Boston University in Brussels. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from John Cabot University in Rome and speaks English and Italian fluently and has a basic knowledge of French.
