Colonel Constantinos G. Constantinou

Colonel Constantinos G. Constantinou currently serves as Military Representative of the Republic of Cyprus to the European Union Military Committee.

Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Defence Policy Director - Head of Defence Diplomacy & International Affairs at the Ministry of Defence of Cyprus (2022–2023).

He has extensive experience in military logistics and defence structures, having served in a wide range of command and staff positions within the Cyprus National Guard. His roles include Commander of Ordnance Battalions (2020–2022 and 2012–2015), Head of the Weapons and Munitions Department at the National Guard General Staff (2015–2016), and Staff Officer in the Logistics Directorate. He also served as a Seconded National Expert at the EU Military Staff (Logistics Directorate) from 2016 to 2020.

Earlier in his career, he held operational and analytical roles, including as Analyst at the Cyprus Intelligence Service (2006-2010), as well as multiple command and executive officer positions in quartermaster and ordnance units.

Colonel Constantinou is a graduate of the Hellenic Military Academy and has completed advanced military education at the National Defence Academy and the Supreme Joint War College in Greece. He also holds an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management.
