Henrik Bliddal

Henrik Bliddal is Head of National Security and Defence, Geopolitical and Government Relations, Nokia since February 2026. Previously, he held roles at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly: Deputy Secretary General from 2020 and 2025, Director of the Science and Technology Committee (2011-2019) and Research Assistant (2010-2011).  

Since 2020, he has been a mentor for the Women in International Security (WIIS) Brussels program. 

Mr Bliddal is the author of the monograph Reforming Military Command Arrangements: The Case of the Rapid Deployment Joint Task Force (Strategic Studies Institute, US Army War College, 2011) and co-editor of the book Classics of International Relations: Essays in Criticism and Appreciation (Routledge, 2013, with Casper Sylvest and Peter Wilson).

He graduated with an MSc in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, in January 2010. 

Mr Bliddal is a Danish and German citizen.
