Kadi Silde is Director for European Engagement at Helsing, where she leads the company’s engagement with European institutions and security stakeholders, with a particular focus on the EU, NATO and Europe’s Eastern Flank.
Prior to joining Helsing, Ms Silde held leadership and advisory roles in defence, innovation, and policy across Europe, including serving as Chief Development Officer at Starburst and interim Chief Operating Officer at NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA). Her experience at NATO also includes leading the DIANA Transition Team.
Ms Silde served as Undersecretary for Defence Policy at the Estonian Ministry of Defence and was seconded to the European Commission’s DG GROW. In addition, Ms Silde held defence coordination roles during Estonia’s EU Council Presidency and served in various positions at the Estonian Ministry of Defence, including Director of Policy Planning.
