Schuman Associates, partner of The International Conference SMEs financing opportunities 2014-2020

Schuman Associates was honoured to be partner of The International Conference SMEs financing opportunities 2014-2020, organized on the 12th of March, in Bucharest at the initiative of EurActiv.ro and the Representation of the European Commission in Romania. 

 With the exclusive participation of the European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Ms. Corina Cretu, the event brought together EU authorities, Romanian national and regional public authorities and SMEs to discuss the latest EU funding and financing opportunities for small and medium enterprises over the next 7 to 10 years.

Covering a variety of funding topics, ranging from specific EU programmes, such as COSME and Horizon 2020 to national opportunities stemming from EU Structural and Investment Funds 2014-2020 , the conference facilitated experience exchange and improved cooperation between national and EU authorities in the area of EU initiatives for SMEs. The conference benefited from the participation of highly important EU and national actors, including representatives of The European Commission, The European Investment Bank, The European Investment Fund, The Romanian Ministry of European Funds, The Ministry of Regional Development etc.

Our colleague, Anca Calugaru, gave a speech in the first panel of the conference and spoke about the use of the EU ICT vouchers for SMEs as an instrument to facilitate the access of these companies to EU funding for ICT in Romania and across EU.
