The programme is supported by a major grant from UNDP (UN Development Programme- EU programme).  The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL)  is bringing 18 women from Portuguese-speaking African countries to Brussels for eight days of intensive training.

The program running from 4-13 December 2013 follows a September event in Mozambique where over 100 African women gathered for a Women’s Leadership Essentials Program, CCL’s specially designed training for those who are often overlooked for leadership development. The participants also meet European Union representatives to discuss best practices for women’s leadership.
